Located in Calgary, Alberta, Last Best Brewing & Distilling opened in May 2015, drawing inspiration from the city’s rich history. The name reflects the Canadian government’s late 1800s campaign, ‘The Last Best West,’ aimed at populating the western prairies and fostering agriculture in Canada. This initiative provided homesteaders with a unique opportunity to establish their futures. Today, Last Best Brewing & Distilling honours this legacy by crafting exceptional beers and spirits, alongside Alberta-inspired cuisine, all while supporting local production. We are proud to contribute to Alberta’s thriving craft beer and distilling scene, celebrating our heritage and community.
