Located in Edmonton, Alberta, Mitsoh emerged from the passion and resilience of Native Delights, a brand dedicated to sharing Indigenous foods with the world. Founded by Ian Gladue, a proud member of the Bigstone Cree Nation, Native Delights began as a food cart and evolved into a full-service restaurant, renowned for its modern interpretations of bannock, including bannock tacos and burgers. Ian’s vision extended beyond a single restaurant, aiming to restore and share Indigenous foodways nationally. Now, Native Delights Bannock is joining the Mitsoh family, making this cherished Indigenous staple available in grocery stores and online, allowing more Canadians to appreciate its rich cultural significance.
