Yvonne Jobin, founder of Moonstone Creation, traded a career in finance for her passion for art. Leaving her Alberta roots, she established herself in Calgary, teaching drum making, hide tanning, and beading. Renowned for her custom parkas and authentic moose hide moccasins, Yvonne elevated Indigenous craftwork to the level of fine art. With the support of her talented daughter, Amy, Moonstone Creation blossomed into a vibrant hub for Indigenous art, showcasing the work of numerous artists and fostering a strong community of art enthusiasts.
