Kleekhoot Gold is an innovative new initiative of Hupacasath First Nation to create local maple syrup from our traditional territory. We are presently producing gold from the virgin woods of the Alberni Valley, “Kleekhoot,” one of our numerous ancestral homes, is also home to a large number of Bigleaf Maple Trees, which are only found on the West Coast of British Columbia. Our maple syrup is prepared from 100 percent pure Bigleaf Maple Sap and has a caramel and vanilla flavour profile. From our kitchen to yours, this all-natural, locally produced maple syrup gives an unrivalled culinary experience.
