The Olive Farm is located on the southern gulf islands of Canada’s west coast. It sits on 72 lush acres in the Fulford Valley on Salt Spring Island, allowing the ideal of a Canadian Olive Grove to come true. With nearly 3,000 olive trees, this forward-thinking plantation harvested its first batch of 100 percent Canadian Olive Oil in December of 2016.
The idea of establishing an olive grove in Canada necessitates two things above all: passion and patience. The first trees were planted in 2000, and they have done an amazing job of adjusting and thriving in their new home in Canada.
