Founded in 1955 by the Ketcham brothers in Quesnel, B.C., West Fraser began with a small planing mill and a 12-person crew. The brothers’ hard work, alongside pioneering employees, built the foundation for what is now North America’s largest lumber producer. From humble beginnings at Two Mile Flat, West Fraser’s growth reflects the dedication of its people. More than six decades later, the company remains rooted in the core beliefs established by its founders.
