Berry Global – Is a plastic fabrication company in Orillia, Ontario. Berry Global Inc. is a publicly traded U.S. corporation (NYSE: BERY). It is not Canadian-owned and is owned by public shareholders globally, including institutional and retail investors.

CanadaGoose.com Owned by Bain Capital (US equity firm). It was founded in a modest warehouse in Toronto about sixty years ago (circa 1960’s) and has since evolved to become one of the world’s leading luxury garment manufacturers.

Danone Canada – Danone Canada (primary production/office site in Boucherville, QC) produces food and beverage products within Canada through a national production network and serves both retail consumers and foodservice/industrial channels. Danone Canada is not 100% Canadian-owned. It is part of Danone, a multinational food company headquartered in France.

Dr. Oetker Canada Ltd. – They are the Canadian arm of the international food company, Dr. August Oetker KG (Germany), producing and marketing baking mixes, desserts, frozen pizzas and other grocery items for retail and food‑service customers.

drizzlehoney.com Wisdom Natural Brands (US), parent company of the SweetLeaf® brand of natural sugar substitutes, today announced the acquisition of Canada-based Drizzle Honey. (Nov 4 2024)

E.D. Smith – E.D. Smith Foods Ltd., located in Winona, Ontario, is a long-established Canadian food manufacturer specializing in fruit-based spreads and pantry staples for retail grocery and foodservice markets. It was acquired by TreeHouse Foods (US) and subsequently sold in 2022 to Investindustrial, a European investment group. At that time, EDS became Winland Foods and later in 2025 combined with La Doria (Italy) to become Windoria Top Holding Ltd.

Ferrero Group, The – The Italian confectionery giant with head offices in Luxembourg, operates a major manufacturing facility in Brantford, Ontario, sells brands including Nutella, Ferrero Rocher, Kinder, Tic Tac, Butterfinger, and various Keebler/WK Kellogg (Famous Amos cookies, Corn Flakes, Corn Pops, Froot Loops, Frosted Flakes and Wagon Wheels) products in Canada.

Garant – Throughout the decades, Garant has been a leading manufacturer and marketer of non-powered gardening tools and accessories, construction tools and snow removal tools. Now owned by The AMES Companies, Inc. (Pennsylvania, US), a subsidiary of Griffon Corp. (New York, US).

kdc-one.com – Based in Toronto, Ontario. Owned by private equity, Cornell Capital (US). Cornell Capital is a private investment firm founded and led by Henry Cornell, a former Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs’ Merchant Banking Division. (2026 Mar 16)

Kellogg (WK Kellogg Co for cereals and Kellanova for snacks) – It manufactures breakfast cereals and other packaged foods, with some production historically occurring in Canada (e.g., Mississauga, Ontario facilities). Kellogg’s Canadian operations are not 100% owned by a Canadian individual or Canadian-registered business. They are owned by U.S.-based parent companies (WK Kellogg Co and Kellanova), which are publicly traded multinational corporations.

Kenvue Canada Inc – Kenvue Canada Inc. is a Canadian subsidiary or division of Kenvue Inc., and kenvue.com is the global corporate website for the parent company, which manufactures brands like Tylenol, Aveeno, and Listerine. Acquired by Kimberly-Clarke (US). (2025 Nov)

Knix – The Knix website emphasises Canadian design and innovation, but it does not state that its products are manufactured in Canada. In fact, Knix notes that its products are made through a global supply chain, meaning production is primarily international, not Canadian. Mallory – Mallory products (snow brushes, ice scrapers, and automotive squeegees) are manufactured in Canada (Blenheim, Ontario), with a long history of domestic production, although the brand is now owned by a U.S. parent company (Hopkins Manufacturing). (2013 Aug)

Mary Maxim – The craft and needlework brand is a family‑owned and operated business originally founded by Willard and Olive McPhedrain from Sifton, Manitoba. While still privately held within the family, it currently operates from Michigan (US).

MAAX – They design and manufacture a broad range of bath ware products for residential construction and renovation markets. Originally founded and located in Québec. Currently owned by American Bath Group (TN, US) with ties to global parent structures such as LIXIL (Japan). (Apr 2026)

McCormick Canada – The McCormick spice brand, as well as the Club House brand, Billy Bee brand, French’s mustard brand, are a wholly-owned by McCormick & Company, Inc., a major American food company based in Hunt Valley, Maryland. While rooted in London, Ontario, since 1883, the McCormick company was acquired by the US-based parent firm in 1959.

Nicholson Manufacturing Ltd. – Nicholson Manufacturing Ltd. is a Canadian company specializing in the design and production of debarking and log-processing equipment for the forestry industry. Known for durable, high-capacity debarkers, it serves sawmills and pulp mills worldwide with a focus on productivity and reliability. Founded 1948. In 2023, the Madill brand and equipment line was sold to DC Equipment (New Zealand).

Orbis Corporation – A manufacturer of warehouse style packaging and storage management equipment and systems. A location in Ontario with sales to industry suppliers in Canada, headquarters based out of the United States. (Mar 2026)

Post Consumer Brands Canada – Post Consumer Brands Canada produces breakfast cereals, including products made in Canada (e.g., Shreddies in Niagara Falls, Ontario; Weetabix in Cobourg, Ontario), and supplies them primarily to the retail consumer market through grocery channels. It is not 100% owned by a Canadian individual or Canadian-registered business. Post Consumer Brands is an American-owned company (a subsidiary of Post Holdings, based in Minnesota, USA).

Qobuz – A shigh-quality music streaming and download platform known for its focus on lossless and high-resolution audio. Based in France, partnered with Québecor owners in Québec.

Quaker food products – Quaker produces a range of food products in Canada (notably in Peterborough and Trenton, Ontario) and supplies them primarily to the retail consumer market through grocery channels. Quaker is not 100% owned by a Canadian individual or Canadian-registered business. It is owned by PepsiCo, Inc., a U.S.-based multinational corporation.

RESISTO – A Canadian manufacturer, founded in 1996 and operating as a division of SOPREMA S.A.S. (France), that specializes in construction and renovation materials for residential and commercial buildings.

Rolls-Royce Canada Limited (9500 ch de la Côte-de-Liesse Lachine, QC, H8T 1A2) – It does produce products in Canada. It also provides engineering, maintenance, and repair services for aircraft engines and power systemsA wholly owned subsidiary of Rolls‑Royce plc (UK). (Apr 06 2026)

Seaspan – Seaspan does produce products in Canada, specifically large vessels built at its shipyards in British Columbia. It is owned by The Washington Companies, Montana (US). (Apr 3 2026)

Siemens Healthineers – Siemens Healthineers (Toronto, ON) is a leading German multinational medical technology company that develops, manufactures, and sells imaging (MRI, CT), laboratory diagnostics, and artificial intelligence-driven digital health solutions. Spun off from Siemens AG (Germany) in 2017, it specializes in transforming care delivery to improve patient outcomes, reduce costs, and enhance diagnostic precision for healthcare providers globally. Smucker Foods of Canada Corp. – (a subsidiary of The J.M. Smucker Company, US) owns the Robin Hood brand and Five Roses brand for the consumer retail market in Canada.

Trimont Mfg. Inc. is a Canadian manufacturer specializing in automotive interior components, primarily supplying parts used in vehicle cabins. It is owned by TS TECH Americas, Inc. (Ohio, US), and that company is owned by TS Tech Japan, located in Japan. (Mar 25 2026)

Venmar.ca – The brand Venmar (venmar.ca) operates in the HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air quality) industry, specifically focused on indoor air quality and ventilation systems. They are owned by Venmar Ventilation ULC, who are owned by Broan-NuTone LLC, who are owned by Madison Industries (Illinois, US). (Apr 2021)

Wärtsilä operates in Canada primarily as an industrial services and engineering provider, with facilities capable of engine servicing, overhaul, and component reconditioning. Wentworth Textile Inc – Doing business as Narroflex, they are a manufacturer specializing in narrow textile components used across a wide range of industries, including medical, apparel, and industrial manufacturing. Zodiac Milpro has manufacturing facilities in Delta, British Columbia, meaning some of its boats are produced in Canada for professional and government users rather than general retail consumers. Zodiac Milpro is owned by the European private equity firm Argos Wityu, making it foreign-owned despite having Canadian manufacturing operations. (Apr 2026)
