Located in Winnipeg Beach, Manitoba, Gail Halliwell‘s artistic life revolves around Lake Winnipeg, inspiring watercolours, acrylics, and clay works from Studio 410. Decades of lakeside living fuel her creative expression, transitioning from a working career to dedicated art practice in 2006. Studio 410, opened in 2010, hosts events and workshops, alongside her personal art. A member of The WAVE Artists’ Studio Tour, she invites the public to explore local creativity. First Fridays at the Beach previously showcased local talent. Her art has been exhibited in notable galleries, including The WAG. Currently, she explores Celtic influences and integrates poetry and music into her art. She offers workshops and lessons, and is a member of several Manitoba art collectives.
