We’d say it all began in 1991, when Cornel Ceapa, the proprietor of Acadian Sturgeon, was a young aquaculture and fisheries undergraduate. Après avoir obtenu son doctorat avec mention « Magna cum Laudae » en 2001, grâce à une thèse en co-tutelle (Roumanie et France, sous la direction du Dr Patrick Williot, chercheur de renommée mondiale sur les esturgeons), Cornel et sa famille ont cherché de nouveaux horizons. C’est ainsi qu’ils se sont installés au Canada ! Acadian Sturgeon & Caviar est une véritable entreprise familiale, où Dorina, l’épouse de Cornel, et leur fils Michael s’investissent pleinement. Le potentiel est immense, car ils ont encore beaucoup à accomplir pour atteindre leurs objectifs ambitieux et laisser un héritage durable à la planète !
