Broadfork Farm is located in a charming area without cell phone service or internet access. Therefore, neither of us has a cell phone, nor do we have internet access at home. However, there is a nearby library with internet connection. The 15-acre farmland that we operate on has many of areas for animals and pollinators. However, we only cultivate the products we sell (vegetables, herbs, melons, and cut flowers) on a single acre each year, rotating it with 3–4 acres of cover crops and green manures like oats, rye, clover, and field peas to improve the soil. We have organic certification.
