Our garden produced an abundant harvest of peppers when we first started it. After about a year, we had the opportunity to give Chef Chuck Hughes himself a bottle of that first sauce! That was the start of our tale. It has since developed into establishing a real farm along with the Canning Sauce Company. Although it is a modest farm, it enables us to expand into other produce varieties while also promoting the growth of our peppers and other sauce-making ingredients. such as lettuce. We raise an enormous amount of lettuce. We also purchase local products from a variety of farms and producers in the valley and Nova Scotia in addition to what we cultivate ourselves.
