Rug hooking was introduced to me by a friend in January 2000. I hooked madly through the night, smitten after drawing one square inch of loops, and saw the sun rise. I knew rug hooking and I were soul mates because I had never had that level of fascination, enthusiasm, or passion for a hobby before. Encompassing Designs is continually expanding, with all kinds of hooking supplies stacked from floor to ceiling. Please join the “Main Street Hookers,” a lively group of ladies who meet at the studio every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for fellowship, coffee, tea, and occasionally a swig of something stronger.
