At-risk kids and the local community are actively involved in Hope Blooms‘ efforts to create resilient, empowering, inclusive, leadership-fostering, and community-growing environments in Halifax’s inner city. Over the years, Hope Blooms has created a thriving atmosphere where young people may collaborate with adult mentors, neighbourhood, community, and corporate organisations to create caring internal and external settings. We live by the adage “When you look at things differently, things change.”
By putting in a lot of effort, young people learn how to cultivate organic food and use the herbs and vegetables to prepare our delicious hot chocolate, hibiscus tea, and fresh herb salad dressings. All of the revenue is used to fund young scholarships.
