Made with Local began as a small farmer’s market stand and has grown to become a B-Corp certified food provider with products sold in stores across Canada–but it’s still baked at home (in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia!) by locals using local ingredients. Our B-Corp designation has served as our compass, guiding us to make a good social and environmental impact with each step we take. For example, when we teamed with the Flower Cart, a social venture that gives meaningful work to residents who face numerous challenges to employment. Our objective is to continue to nourish our local community by partnering with local suppliers and social entrepreneurs, as well as to be the voice of intuitive, mindful nourishment in the snack aisle of your local grocery store.
