YFCM, as the largest farmers’ market in this part of the province, has developed into a close-knit family and community of local producers who support one another. Our goal is to create a forum for primary and secondary producers to sell directly to the public, as well as a central spot for the community to shop for quality, local items. In our region of Southwest Nova Scotia, we advocate sustainability and have been key in the establishment of small enterprises and giving chances for local producers to go outside the market. We are a nonprofit co-operative, and our sole purpose is to help the hardworking people of our community and promote the continuation of local farming. This Saturday, come see it all for yourself!
