Located in Kugluktuk, Nunavut, Umingmak Productions Inc. has been dedicated to documenting the Arctic’s natural environment and its people since 2012. We adhere to a strict ethical code to minimize disturbance to both the environment and our subjects. Our services encompass all stages of production, including wildlife and Arctic expertise, scouting, story development, logistical support, and photography and filming. We operate year-round in communities, on land, and on the ocean or sea ice. Owner Mathieu Dumond, a wildlife biologist with over 20 years of experience and numerous peer reviewed publications, has lived with his family in a solar and wind powered remote camp in the Canadian Arctic since 2001.
