Amanda Moss was born and raised in Newfoundland before moving to Montreal in 1998 to study and pursue a career in fashion design.
Amanda became disillusioned with the fashion industry after working for a few fast fashion brands. After a little pause, I was re-inspired to develop things that would persist beyond seasons.
Amanda Moss’s namesake line, which debuted in 2013, focuses on silhouette and construction to evoke a strong feeling of timeless femininity.
The design studio moved to Toronto in 2018 and now makes all of the clothes in small, ethically run workshops in both Toronto and Montreal.
