Windsor, Ontario-based Biblioasis is a literary press dedicated to publishing exceptional poetry, fiction, and non-fiction in beautifully crafted editions. Publishing twenty to thirty works annually, including short fiction, non-fiction, translations, and poetry, they receive numerous submissions, making selection highly competitive. While open to diverse styles and genres, Biblioasis rarely considers fantasy, sci-fi, self-help, young adult, cookbooks, or children’s books. They prioritize works of exceptional literary and cultural merit. From established writers, they seek works comparable to those by authors like Clark Blaise and Graeme Macrae Burnet. For emerging writers, they look for potential in both the work and the author, having launched the careers of writers like Kathleen Winter and Alexander MacLeod.
