Château des Charmes Winery, Ontario - Made in Canada Wines

Paul Bosc, a fifth-generation French winegrower, founded Château des Charmes in 1978. In the 1960s, Paul and his small family moved to Niagara with the belief that farming our own grapes was the finest way to make good wine. We believe in the Estate Winery model, and we only use grapes that we have cultivated ourselves to manufacture our wine. And after more than 40 vintages in our vineyards, we believe we’ve figured out which varietals thrive best where. But there’s always something new to learn. We hope that our ground-breaking research using new grape types will pave the way for our industry’s future. The Bosc family is devoted to continuing to own and operate Château des Charmes and to producing 100% estate-grown wines.
