Gunn’s Hill Artisan Cheese is manufactured right here on Gunn’s Hill Road in Woodstock, Ontario. We’re an Oxford County-based speciality cheesemaker with a long history. The cheese operation is a logical extension of our family’s dairy farm, which is immediately next door and the only source of milk. We invite you to visit our facility and see for yourself. But be sure to bring your appetite! This cheese is unlike any other you’ve ever had. Shep Ysselstein, the cheesemaker, has taken the time to really grasp the subtleties of high-quality cheese production. He has received thorough training in a variety of cheese-making activities and has spent time in the world’s most prominent cheese-making nation, Switzerland, honing his skills.
