Outdoor Survival Canada noticed something after years of manufacturing extreme winter downwear: while their coats continued to set the benchmark for excellent Canadian-made downwear, they were too warm for everyday use in milder, urban areas. There was a gap in the market for well-made, sportswear-inspired down coats for consumers who sought the same handcrafted quality that Outdoor Survival Canada demanded. As a result, the OSC Cross line was created.
