We raise Texas Longhorn Cattle on the YU Ranch under range conditions. Our cattle are solely given grass, which is their natural diet. We never use growth hormones or antibiotics in animal by-products. Texas Longhorns are regaining popularity among health-conscious consumers who value the thin, delicate meat. Longhorns are popular among ranchers because of their efficiency, disease resistance, toughness, and ease of calving. These cattle flourish in open range environments with little human influence, resulting in a finished product that meets today’s customer needs.
