Based in Montréal, Québec, we have held a cherished place in people’s hearts since 1893, when master cheesemaker Brother Alphonse Juin established himself in Oka, a Trappist community in Deux-Montagnes. That same year, OKA cheese was born and won the Best New Product award at the Montreal Agricultural Fair, marking a remarkable beginning. Today, we continue to honour our rich heritage by adhering to traditional cheesemaking methods, ensuring that OKA remains a beloved choice for enhancing gatherings of all sizes.
