Located in Whitehorse, Yukon, the story of the Circle D Ranch began in 1962 as a weekend hobby for Bill Drury Senior. His son, Bill, returned from global travels to embrace farming in 1976, transforming the land with hay and oats for animal feed, and building a homestead that now includes an abattoir. Bill and Barbara formed a blended family in 1986, uniting their five children, who remain close. Today, they manage an elk herd and beef cattle, expanding into Haskap and black currant berries, and kale for commercial production. They cherish the Yukon winters, enjoying saunas, snowy walks, and warm kitchen gatherings with friends.
